It always amazes me how fast summer goes. Winter seems to drag on. By the time February comes around I would rather swallow tooth picks soaked in Icy Hot than see any more snow. Summer in Michigan is always a reminder of why I live here. The downside is that is always goes so fast.
This summer seems to be going even faster since we are expecting a baby in October. There has been so much to do from getting the nursery ready to coming up with a name for our son. This is a big task thinking he will be called this name for the rest of his life. Michelle hasn't been very pleased with my suggestions yet which include - Nitro, Laser, Deuce, Ace, and Tank.
The other week I had the opportunity of performing my cousin's wedding in Madison, Wisconsin and then we had an extended family vacation in northern Wisconsin. The highlight of the week was my grandad, dad, and myself being part of baptizing my brother Collin in the lake.
The family gathered at the end of the dock and we had a little time where Collin and one of my other cousin's were baptized. It was a very special moment for us. A definite highlight of the summer so far.
